Gaza truce negotiations in Cairo progressing positively- Source

The ongoing negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Cairo are progressing positively, a high-profile source revealed, adding that the terms published by the media as part of the proposed agreement between the two sides are not precise.

An Egyptian security delegation continues to hold consultations with all parties, the source told Egypt's Alqahera News channel, noting that returning displaced Palestinians from southern Gaza Strip to the north is one of the items of the proposed agreement.

A Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo on Saturday to complete discussions on developments pertaining to a proposed truce and the exchange of hostages and prisoners, in light of recent contacts with the mediators from Egypt and Qatar.
